Hi, I'm Nikki. I believe weeknight dinners should feel like a treat.
What started as a tiny recipe blog written from a rented apartment kitchen has grown into a home for hundreds of thousands of cooks. The mission has never changed: make cooking feel joyful, doable, and a little bit indulgent.

How it all started
I learned to cook standing on a stool next to my grandmother, stealing pinches of dough and asking far too many questions. Years later, stuck in a job that drained me, I started posting the recipes I cooked to unwind. One bowl of pasta at a time, a community formed.
Today, Nikki's Kitchen is a full-time labor of love. I develop and test every recipe, photograph each dish in natural light, and design the tools I wish I'd had when I was starting out. Everything here is built to make your time in the kitchen a little easier and a lot more delicious.
Thank you for being here. Whether you're a confident cook or just learning to boil water, there's a seat for you at this table.
